Born on the 9th of November, 1877 in a small townspeople of then India, now Pakistan, was a child with an exceptional sense and a zest for knowledge. This small boy with his little aspired nucleus keen for philosophy grew up to become not that a poet but a great scholar and a thinker, whom later the world will know as the Philosopher of the East.

Allama Muhammad Iqbal revolutionized the all told system of rationalism. This one person with his individual effort presented the melodic theme of a separate homeland and of freedom to the crushed Muslims of the Subcontinent. He rekindled the burnt out fire and from this flame he changed the dialogue of history, redefining the geography of the world with the birth of a new democracy; Pakistan the land of purity.

The Allama received his early education from Sialkot. Later he moved to Lahore where he studied philosophy and received a distinctive scholarship for being the only candidate in his class to pass the Masters exam.





In west he completed his PhD and was highly inspired by the western philosophy. Allama extensively studied both Muslim and Western philosophy. He opted precise study of the latter to reform the decaying philosophical thoughts of the east.

Allama was deeply nub broken by the material and spiritual decay of Muslims of his time. He spent his entire life trying to revive the equal spirit and glory of the past in every subject matter of his nation.

Sufism inspired him and Maulana Jalal-ud-din Rumi in particular became a great first of aspiration. The concept of Rumi, Insaan e Kamil or the perfect man, further evolved below the mighty pen of Allama, thus forming the basis of Asrar i Khudi.
