Bottled water supply is the worlds most attractive drinking categories. In 1990, 50 percent of Bottles water consumed in the United States market was Home and Office Delivery (HOD) in returnable five-gallon containers and parcel out through cooler, while one-liter or smaller single-serving polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle sold very few. But in 2005, bottled water sold in two-liter or smaller PET containers were nearly 61 percent of industry volume while five-gallon containers use in the home and office delivery drop to 18 percent of industry volume.
