Hi my name is Amber Radford and I am applying for the role of Head Student for 2010. Hedland sr. High has destinen me many opportunities, not only to happen upon the highest standards of education in all learning areas except to as well as participate in a wide range of outside activities as well. Hedland of age(p) High has given me a responsible for(p) attitude in regard to achieving the results I need to further my studies. I have learnt that this year, more than most, I have needed to balance my written report clipping with dancing and work. With the support from my teachers this has been made possible. I forthwith understand I need to plan and organise my time effectively to be able to still keep achieving the results I need.
This has meant that I can still hand in assignments on time as well as being responsible and organised in my after school activities.
Being gnarly in Rock Eisteddfod has further developed my communication skills. parley if done effectively is a two way alley you not only have to be able to twaddle confidently to people and share your ideas, you also have to be an active listener and take in others ideas as well. On the performance night in Perth I was chosen to give a speech to a judging panel and an audience of about 1,000 people on the difficulties of being a removed school. While doing this I was nervous at first but then became more comfortable meant I gave my speech to a high standard.
