Ethics is a process of values and beliefs that hold moral principles that defines what is right and wrong. Ethics also include our apparitional beliefs in our everyday behavior deep down society. In most byplayes, ethics is their main concern. It involves values and moral principles that govern the actions of the play along with admiration to what is right and what is wrong or what is learned within the organization among all employees. It spells out the necessary priorities of the organization in actual terms, and the disallowed conflict in the workplace. Generally, the way some mass make ethical decisions in their personal lives, is not inescapably the same way they make decisions in a business environment.
According to the text Concepts in Strategic Management and task Policy: Achieving Sustainability, there are two views of social indebtedness, Milton Friedmans and Archie Carrolls view. Friedmans view is a classical. He believes that circumspection maximizes the profits of operating the business with the best interests of the stockholders of the corporation. Social responsibility involves management to go beyond making a profit in the company, but to cling to and improve the welfare of society. Carrolls view is more socioeconomic. He believes that companies have four responsibilities within its organization to stay in business. These responsibilities include: economically, legally, ethically, and discretionarily. He indicates that businesses must first make a profit to satisfy its economic liability, which involves goods and services to society. Legally, businesses must await by all the laws that governs there organization, which may consist of a mission statement, and a code of ethics.
