Jakartas JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton were hit by terrorist suicide bombers in 2009. There were 9 casualties and many were injured. The terrorists actually checked into the hotel with their bomb making materials 2 days prior to the attack, which went undetected by the hotels security protocol.
