Walter Lee Younger may be compared to the average American man for his actions in A Raisin in the Sun indite by Lorraine Hansberry. His many hopes and dreams of success and his passion to live the American dream can be very motivated. Walter Lee is a very dynamic character throughout this story and he is a large factor on the lives of each family constituent in this household. Himself and his family are going through hard generation afterward the death of his father in the late 1950s. vauntingly Walters insurance money follows his death and the family is relying on this money to coat the way to better future, especially Walter. Walter believes this is his chance to start a liquid business and this may open the gate of his roadway of success. Walters motivation is the way himself and his family live, and his son, Travis. Walters behavior in the beginning of the dally was very serious and he was egotistical towards his family. (Talking to mum)- This morning, I was flavor in the mirror and thinking about it… Im thirty-five years old; I been married 11 years and I got a boy who sleeps in the victuals room-and all I got to give him is stories about how rich exsanguinous people live…,(pg.34).
